The stage was set in Gorakhpur, India, and Biratnagar, Nepal, where Surveillance Medical Officers (SMOs) from WHO India and WHO Nepal converged to share knowledge and strengthen their response to VPD threats. The meeting's agenda was clear: to arm these officers with the latest tools and strategies for effective outbreak management, focusing on priority vaccine-preventable diseases.
