A Life Remembered: The Passing of Mary Fallon
A peaceful departure, a life well-lived.
On December 12th, 2025, Mary Fallon, a beloved member of the Pollerton community, left us for a better place. Her passing, though brief, was a testament to her courage and strength. Mary, born Mary O'Connor, was a cherished wife, mother, daughter, and friend.
But here's where it gets controversial... Mary's illness, though short, was a battle she fought with grace. Her passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Pre-deceased by her father, Patrick Joseph, Mary's legacy lives on through her loving family.
A Family's Tribute:
Mary is survived by her devoted husband, Noel, and their daughters, Meadhbh and Áine. Her mother, Bridget, and a large, loving family circle grieve her loss. Sisters Frances, Helen, Elizabeth, Catherine, Brigid, and Paula, along with brothers Eamon, Patrick, and Liam, will forever cherish their memories of Mary.
And this is the part most people miss... the impact Mary had on her community. Her kindness and warmth touched the lives of many, from her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law to her uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors, and friends.
A Final Farewell:
Reposing at Coady's Funeral Home, Castlecomer, on Tuesday, December 16th, from 5 pm, with Vigil Prayers and Rosary at 6:30 pm. Funeral Prayers on Wednesday at 1:45 pm, followed by a Requiem Mass at the Church of the Sacred Heart, Moneenroe, at 2:30 pm. A Private Cremation will follow, allowing the family to bid farewell in an intimate setting.
